My Story
Hi,
My name is Sean McMahon and I am fundraising for Children's Health Foundation (CHF) by undertaking the Route 66 Motorcycle Challenge in America, which will take me 14 days travelling through 9 states and 4 different time zones- a demanding 2,488 miles journey across the oldest highway in USA.
My aim is to raise €10,000 for The Children's Health Foundation (CHF) who urgently need the funds for sick children in their care centres in Connolly, Crumlin, Tallaght and Temple Street, to provide top paediatric care and life - saving treatment. The funds will also provide essential support for worried parents.
Why I am doing this? Ever since I started riding bikes and like anyone interested in bikes or cars I have dreamed of motorcycling across Route 66 so once I saw the CHI Route 66 challenge I thought I'd give it a go. I have known family and friends who had sick children and needed the medical care and the support provided by CHF. I want to take up this challenge and contribute to this worthy foundation which has done so much for these families.
Your donation and support will make a real and lasting difference in the lives of sick children who deserve the best possible medical care and support.
I will be starting this challenge on 23rd September so will be hosting events and activities to raise €10,000 - Please follow my Facebook https://www.facebook.com/sean.mcmahon.90
Thanking you in advance for your generous support of this worthy cause.
