My Story
My story
My name is Victoria Atoro, and between the ages of 13 and 17, I spent a large part of my teenage years in and out of Temple Street Hospital due to multiple medical conditions. During what should have been some of the most normal years of my life, the doctors and staff there became a constant source of care, strength, and hope. They didn’t just treat my illnesses — they supported me through some of my hardest moments and helped me keep going. Seeing children in hospital still breaks my heart, because I know how overwhelming it can feel, not just for them but for their families too. This charity match is my way of giving back to a place that gave me so much. After seeing how successful last year’s match was, I knew this had to become a yearly event. Every donation helps support Children’s Health Foundation in continuing the life-changing care that helped shape my future, and I hope you’ll consider donating to help make a difference for children who need it most.
